Brian has created a house for Lucas out of an old box and he totally loves it. Not to mention the flat screen hanging on the wall in there for him to watch (CARS is constantly playing). Lucas is talking so much now and everytime I see him he is talking even more. We are really excited to move about 2 minutes away from them.

Homeowners
The other reason we have been so busy is because we are finally going to have our own house. I am so excited. We are closing on Thursday and getting all new carpet, then moving in the following weekend. It is red brick with black shutters and it's a 2004 multi-level with an unfinished basement. It is just what we wanted. I can't wait to get in there and make it our own. I will be sure to put some pictures of it on here after this week. Everyone who lives close by will have to come see us soon.
MAJOR UPDATE
This is about the saddest thing I have ever seen!! I can't believe I haven't updated my blog since the end of November. I guess the holidays kept me busy, but still that is no excuse. Anyway- instead of trying to go back and redeem myself for the last 3 months, I will just begin now. Other than a few updates I just have to fill everyone in on. YES- Alissa and McKay got married in January and everything was perfect. Three days after their wedding Linz gave my parents the news that she was now going to be getting married!! My mom about had a heart attack- well not really, but we are way excited for her. She is getting married on April 25 in the SLC temple. She is marrying Brett Preston. They met down in Orem. They are in the same ward and apt. complex. Brett's parents are from Salem, Utah, but he grew up in Montana. The most important thing is that he plays golf and that's all the boys needed to know. Just kidding- he is actually the best golfer out of them all now, so we'll see how this summer goes. I told Spencer he is going to have to have a gold budget this year, hehe.
Well- other than that, Mom had to get surgery to take some cancer out of her nose. It was scary, but she looks great! Just another big reminder to me that I need to wear sunscreen all throughout the hot months, especially on my face. Love ya Mom.
