Valentine's Weekend

I just found these pictures on our camera and I had forgotten that I had taken them on Valentine's. We started out our date by going to the Bountiful temple and doing baptisms and confirmations with Grandpa and Grandma Morgan and a bunch of Spencer's cousins, aunts, and uncles. Spencer's grandparents had about 250 family names for us to do and his grandpa was convinced we were going to do them all that evening, so we did! It was a fun experience.

After the temple we went to one of our favorite restaurants- Johnny Carino's. One random reason why we love this place is because they always tell you the wait is about 25 minutes longer than it really is, so you always get in way quicker than you are expecting- gotta love that!

  After dinner we went to the mall, walked around, and Spencer picked out two XBOX games and yes, I made him stand by this life size Halo guy just because. 

After that we went to see InkHeart at Jordan Commons. It was really good. I'd read the book, so I think I liked it even more because of that. 

Anyway, we had a great Valentine's weekend. I am so grateful that I have Spencer in my life and love spending every free minute I have with him. Love you Spenc!!

Flowers

I don't care what any girl says- every girl loves to get flowers from someone they love!! Thanks Spencer- I love you so much!!

This picture seems a lot worse than the story really is. The picture is of our 6 month old Ashley Furniture Bed Frame that broke a few months ago. I know what you are all thinking... but I promise you we had just woken up and Spencer started to roll over to face me when... CRACK! We felt the bed drop about 6 inches or so. We just busted up laughing. After I realized what had happened I was sad to see my brand new bed broken. This picture is of one of the underneath support bars, but there was a lot more damage than that. Weak bed I guess. Needless to say we got new pieces for free and it's all better now. Haha, what are the chances this picture would have been the one in the 6th folder and the 6th picture. Oh well.

Valentine Exchange

My Valentine Box

Myself and my fellow curriculum developer and friend, Megan, decided that we needed to have a Valentine exchange at work just to fill the void of not having one at school with our cute, little classes. So we sent around an email and even attached a Valentine list with everyone's names on it. Some people were more willing than others, but we had a good time. We even had a contest to see whose boxes were the best. I have to admit that I was pretty dang proud of my box and to top it all off- I designed the whole thing in Microsoft Word- that's right, Word.

I know it's not Valentine's day yet, but I got an early surprise. This morning flowers were delivered to me by a FedEx guy. Spencer- you are the best. I love you! In return, I surprised Spencer with a heart-shaped pizza for lunch from Papa Murphy's. I can't wait to see what the "Boogie Man" brings us in the morning. (weird family tradition- don't ask)

My New Car

I picked up my new Mitsubishi Endeavor on Monday night. I love it!! 

Happy Birthday Mom!!

It was my mom's birthday yesterday, so we celebrated by going to Joy Luck for lunch and then we all went up to the house and built a snowman with Lucas (well some of us did). The other people were too into the Wii to want to play in the snow. I was especially excited cause I got to sport my new snow boots that Spencer got me for Christmas. I try to find any excuse to wear them. :) Then Lin and Mom went to get pedicures and Em cut and colored my hair. 

It was fun to spend the day together. To end the night off right, Dad took Mom to her favorite place for dinner: Texas Road House. Happy Birthday Mom- you are the best mom a girl could ask for. Thanks for always being there for me. I love you!!
