Amusement Park Fun

We have been doing lots of fun stuff together and we haven't been taking any pictures, but I decided I could still post something. We have been busy with our jobs and such, so on the weekends we have been trying to do some fun stuff. We went to Cherry Hill (after 4:30) it's way cheaper, and then we also went to Lagoon-a-beach/Lagoon.  We had all our favorite foods like churros, corndogs, chicken finger, and icees.  We went on all the body slides and got plenty of wedgies. Yahoo!!!

Happy Birthday Elder Bitner

Gotta love that 6 month mark and the burning of a tie
Silly Daniel (as Lucas would say) A quick look inside the life of an office missionary
Cold but still Optomistic!
Can you believe these are hedges??? Amazing, huh!

Dan's birthday isn't till the 24th, but I just miss him so much, so to fill the void (as much as possible) I thought I would post some pictures of my silly bro. on his mission. I love the pictures he sends in his emails, he just looks so dang excited in every single one of his pictures. I am so glad he is having a good time. He has been an office missionary for over 3 months and that can get hard sometimes, I'm sure. But this past week his mission president asked him if he would be willing to leave the office for 3 weeks and just be a normal missionary for that time. He was so pumped!! I am so glad he will be able to be out if the field on his birthday!! Dan- although we all miss you so much, you are such a great missionary and we love hearing about all your awesome experiences in Denmark. The church is true- keep spreading the good news!! We love you!

Henry's Baby Blessing

Today Brian blessed Henry in their ward. It was nice. Baby blessings are always really special. Henry is seriously the best behaved baby I have ever seen. I have NEVER heard him cry-ever! Spencer said during his blessing, he was just laying there wide awake, just looking up at everyone. We are so glad he is part of the family.I forgot to take my camera so some random pictures are going to have to do.

Finished- THE END :(

YAY!! I just barely finished Breaking Dawn and I loved it! I had my doubts about how it was going to end, but I really liked how everything turned out. I love how she finds a way in her books for everything to always work out. I am proud of myself that I let it drag out for at least a week, but now I am kinda sad. I really, really have to say that the Twilight Series is by far my favorite series ever. Now I just have to wait for Midnight Sun to come out- that is Twilight, but through Edward's point of view. Did you know that Twilight came about all because Stephenie Meyer had a dream about a boy and a girl in a clearing that loved each other so much, but couldn't be together- and she decided to write the story down. I think that's awesome! It tells me to always follow your dreams- cheesy I know, but it's true.

New Job

For those of you who don't already know, I have decided not to teach this upcoming year and try something a little different. I just accepted a job yesterday to be a curriculum developer for a publishing company- Gibbs-Smith Publisher. My office is located in Kaysville and the main office is in Layton, so that's way nice. I will be assisting in the process of writing State History Textbooks for different states. We write all the activities and supplimentary ideas for the teachers editions. I am really excited to get started and think it will be a great job for me. I think it is really cool that the things I write will be part of a textbook, seems kind of intimidating, but I am so grateful for the opportunity.

Spencer meets his one true love- ACE ENDERS

Monday night we went with Linz and Brett to "Cute is What we aim for" and "Ace Enders and a million different people." It was so fun! I know Spencer loves me, but I am pretty sure that Ace Enders has almost got me beat. We went to the Gateway before the show and Spencer ran into Ace there and got to talk to him. For Spencer that was like going to Hollywood and meeting his favorite celebrity, (except that there weren't any bodyguards around) just him and his wife. Then he went into the food court and ran into the lead singer on "Cute is what we aim for" and talked to him too. And of course, I missed it all cause I was in Forever 21 the whole time. Go figure-oh well, at least Spencer got to talk to them all. The show was seriously awesome though!!

Island Park

The Bitner Bunch went up to Island Park Wednesday-Sunday for our annual Island Park cabin trip. We had so much fun together. I love vacations where you can chose to either go, go, go, or just relax and hang out and not feel bad for doing nothing. We still did manage to do lots of stuff though. We floated Box Canyon Reservoir a few times: Me and Mom in the raft one time and the other time Spencer and I took the Kayaks. Wow- was that a mistake for Spencer. His size and the size of the kayaks are not a good fit. I absolutely loved it, but poor Spencer spent half the time floating down river without his kayak, and cutting up his whole body while in the process. We all survived at least. We played horseshoes, had a campfire, lots of good devotionals, good food, road the four-wheelers, did crafts, and went swimming in a really neat thing called the FireHole. The Firehole is this natural current that you climb up to and then jump in and let it take you down river. That was a first for us, so we really liked it. Thanks to Mom and Dad for all the preparation and fun times we had up there!

Breaking Dawn is finally here!!

My family had their weekend vacation in Island Park at our cabin these last few days, and it just so happened to fall inbetween the day that Breaking Dawn came out, but I did get it! We went into West Yellowstone and I bought it yesterday. I finished Eclipse for the second time on our way into Yellowstone Park-perfect!! I am half way through it and can't put it down. I told myself I wasn't going to be one of those people who finish it in a day or two because I want it to last, but I don't know if am going to be able to keep that promise to myself. We'll see. Anyway, I hope all of you Twilight lovers out there are enjoying the book as much as I am!!
