Missionary Madness

Last Wednesday we all gathered at my mom's house for David to open his mission call when out of the blue Brian says, "Hey Dave- someone's on the phone for you."
Dave: "Who is it?"
Brian: "I don't know..."
David takes the call and it's DAN!! He got permission from his mission president to call home to be part of Dave opening his mission call. It was so fun to have him on the phone to support Dave during this time. Brian and Dan set the whole thing up secretively :)
So- Dave peeked inside the envelope without reading it or anything and then sat there hyperventilating- not being able to get the words out of his mouth. Of course my mom was about to have a heart attack- she was just as nervous as Dave was. Finally his said:
Moscow, RUSSIA... how awesome is that!
We are so excited for Dave- he leaves February 12th, so luckily we still has some time with him.
That now makes four Bitner missionaries speaking: Hungarian, Polish, Danish, and now Russian... ha ha. Quite the group.

And to top it all off... My parents and Dave fly out to Denmark to pick up Dan on Tuesday. I can't wait to see Dan again. We have all missed him so much. He has been an awesome missionary and we are so proud of him.

I AM SO PROUD OF MY TWO LITTLE BROTHERS!

HOLY COW!!! Moscow, Russia? That is so great! Brad just got back from 3 weeks there, but I won't let him scare you with his stories (just kidding). He says the church is quite strong there. Awesome!!!!

It really was "Madness"! There are a lot of different emotions running here at the home of the Bitner Bunch. It will be great to have Dan home again. He can help me get Dave ready for Russia (wow) We are excited to go and see where Dan has been serving and has learned to really love Denmark and the people.

It's all just so exciting. I keep having dreams that Dan is home. At least they all speak different crazy languages so they can't tell secrets to each other in front of the rest of us.
