WICKED!!

We went to Wicked on Saturday with my family (we missed you-Alissa and McKay) and Spencer's family. It was more amazing than I ever could have imagined!! I can't wait to see it again. (highly doubt that will happen anytime soon though) All the boys even liked it!! It was fun to go to Olive Garden with my fam before the show and go to Joy Luck with Spencer's fam after. Thanks Marsha and Ron for the awesome Christmas present!! We had such a blast!!
Oh and the skirt I am wearing was another one of my sewing creations. I was a little nervous to wear it, but I am happy to say that all the seams stayed put and nothing ripped!

My Favorite Thing So Far

I  just have to say I love the Internet. You can find tutorials for anything and everything on there. I found a tutorial for this cute pillowcase and thought I'd give it a shot. I did it a little different, but for the most part it's the same.

A Few New Things

Another couple of car trash bags for my mom and dad (at my mom's request)
A CARS pillowcase for Lucas' b-day
A drawstring toy bag for Lucas' toys

My First Creation

Last night I attempted to make something with my new sewing machine. After I failed my attempt to make a pillowcase, haha, I made a trash bag for my car. It hangs behind the passenger seat around the headrest.  Needless to say, I am pretty proud of it. Thanks Mom for the awesome birthday gift!! I love it.  Can't wait to get better at this sewing stuff.

Forever Birthdays: The BIG 2-6

Spencer and I are just three days apart, so needless to say, we usually have quite the birthday celebrations. This year it started out Thursday night when I went to dinner with my parents, Dave, and Sheridan. We went to Winger's and had a fun time. (We missed Spencer though.)
I woke up Friday morning (my b-day) to breakfast in bed and lots of awesome presents from Spencer. We hung out in Salt Lake that afternoon and then went to the Jazz game (thanks Mom and Dad), where they lost to the T-Wolves by 1 point! Boo! I had a ridiculously good Red Mango yogurt though. It is my newest love.
Saturday we went shopping for Spencer and bought him some new golf shoes for his b-day. Sunday we had a roarin' party at the Richins' home. We had our favorite meal (porcupine meatballs) and an amazing strawberry cake. (thanks Marsha) Everyone gave us way too many gifts.
Today is Spencer's birthday. We started out by going to McDonald's for breakfast and got their amazing McGriddle sandwiches. Spencer then went up to Rose Park and played 27 holes of golf with Ben. I don't think he could have asked for a better present than that. He got to sport his new golf shoes and use the new golf club that my parents gave him. Tonight we went out to eat at Braza Grill. It was so good and we even got to use one of our many giftcards we got for our birthdays. (thanks Doug and Carol)
Next Sunday is the Bitner birthday celebration/Easter Sunday, where we get to choose our favorite meal cooked by Mamabit. I don't know if this birthday thing will ever end- but hey, I'm not complaining. Oh and my mom and dad gave me my gift a few weeks ago- a sewing machine of my very own!! I am so excited, now I just need to learn how to sew :) Thanks everyone for all the gifts and for making us feel so special on our birthdays!!

Meg and Dia

Sher and I went to the Take Action Tour on Tuesday night and it was so fun!! We had such a blast. We got to see Cute Is What We Aim For, Meg and Dia, Every Avenue, and Breathe Carolina. If you haven't heard Meg and Dia you should really listen to them. They are two sisters from Sandy, Utah. They are currently my new favorite band. We got matching shirts and the whole thing! Haha, I think that must be the GIRL in us. Anyway, thanks Sher for going with me to the concert. It was a blast!!

IFLY

For Christmas, I gave Spencer a gift certificate for the IFLY thing in Ogden and he decided to redeem his certificate today. It was so fun. You go through a 15-minute training session, put on sweet outfits and gear, and then its time for the air tunnel. Spencer did awesome. The instructor did some cool stuff with Spencer too. They spun around and around forever going up and down in the tunnel. They got pretty high too! I highly recommend trying it. I want to try it next time for sure. Merry Christmas Spencer!
